- PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
- Shirt
- Crisp Collar & Straight Placket with Inherent Stiff Shape
-
- A shirt's quality reads through the collar and the placket. The collar tells you first: are the points crisp, does the band fit, is the neckline symmetric? Then the placket: are the buttons and buttonholes aligned, does the front sit straight? Our quality control concentrates on these two.
- Collar Shaping
- Custom interlining and segmented heat pressing hold the collar's shape. Medium-stiff interlining for high-count cotton (soft hand, stable shape); firmer interlining for oxford (collar points stay upright). Collar stand and collar face are pre-pressed with controlled ease, so the collar folds inward naturally — no curling, no flaring. Template positioning ensures both collar tips sit at identical angles.
- Placket
- The placket is the shirt's central line. Cut on the straight grain, pre-pressed, then precisely aligned to the body. Buttons and buttonholes are template-marked so the placket sits cleanly overlapped when fastened. Round-eyelet or flat buttonholes, to spec — finished neatly, resistant to fraying.
- Detailing For Long Wear
- Cuffs are reinforced with multi-layer interfacing; buttonhole spacing is accurate for a comfortable wrist fit. Side seams are plain or bound, smooth to skin. The curved hem prevents the shirt rolling up when tucked.
