- The quality of a down jacket comes down to three things: warmth, comfort, and durability. Warmth depends on the down grade and fill weight. Comfort depends on the quilt design and the cut. Durability depends on anti-leak stitching and construction. A real down garment delivers on all three.
- Precise Zoned Filling — Warmth Without Bulk
- A high-precision automatic weighing system controls fill weight per baffle within tight tolerance, so chest, back and sleeves are evenly built — no thin spots, no over-stuffed lumps. Custom zoned filling is available: heavier on the chest where warmth is needed; lighter at the underarms for movement.
- Quilting — Locks The Down In Place
- Quilting is the structural backbone of a down garment. We produce diamond, onion, stripe and wave patterns with consistent, smooth stitching and uniform spacing. Too dense and the fabric stiffens; too loose and the down migrates. We calculate the quilting spec to the fabric weight and the down's fill power, so the down stays where it should, wash after wash.
- Down-Proof — Feather Leakage Stopped At The Source
- Pinhole leakage is the industry's hardest problem. Air-blow devices at each stitching point return stray fibres into the baffle before the needle moves on. Combined with ultra-fine down-proof needles and specialist anti-leak thread, this cuts leakage at source. Every bulk run is leakage-tested against international brand specifications before production.
