- PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
- Trench Coat
- Complex construction. Precise execution
-
- Among outerwear categories, the trench has the most complex structure. A classic trench has more than a dozen components: notched collar, collar tab, gun flap, epaulet, shoulder storm flap, waist belt, belt loop, button tab, cuff strap, back yoke, vent. Every piece needs accurate cutting, positioning and stitching; small errors produce uneven sides, a curling collar, or crooked fittings.
- Collar and shoulder, controlled
- Notched collar and collar stand — the heart of trench styling — are made with segmented interlining pressing and shaping, so the collar sits cleanly on the neck when worn open and lies flat when worn closed. Decorative pieces (epaulets, gun flaps, shoulder flaps) are positioned by template, with identical heights and symmetric angles side to side.
- Front placket and buttonhole
- Buttonholes are signature detail on a trench. We use round-eyelet bartack — round or teardrop end — which is more elegant and more durable than a flat buttonhole, and resists fraying. Button placement is calibrated so the placket sits perfectly overlapped when fastened.
- Back panel and hem
- Yoke and hem use invisible blind-stitching so the front shows no visible seam. The hem is contoured with graded easing — it hangs straight when standing and moves cleanly when walking.
