- PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
- Outerwear
- Structured silhouette. Free movement
-
- Outerwear is among the most worn pieces in the wardrobe, so it asks more of tailoring and durability than an everyday top. A good jacket holds its shape (clean shoulder line, stable collar, straight front placket) and moves with the body (no pull when arms lift, no bind when the back bends). The whole craft is in finding that balance.
- Fabric-specific construction. Each fabric needs its own sewing spec.
-
• Heavy wool: deeper needle penetration and appropriate stitch spacing.
• Mid-weight spring/autumn fabric: clean stitching, no puckering.
• Silk-weight fabrics: looser stitch to prevent puckering.
• Functional fabrics (waterproof, windproof, 4-way stretch): specialist thread and seam taping that preserves the technical performance.
- Pattern fidelity. We grade and lay markers digitally from the designer's brief or proto sample. Shoulder width, body length, sleeve length and bust are held to a minimal tolerance across the full size run, S through XXL.
